The Mountain Music Festival, a three-day classic rock event, returned to the Gatlinburg Convention Center, located in Tennessee’s Great Smoky Mountains, on August 21 through 23.
The three-day festival featured over 25 artists on three stages, including Rick Springfield, Ratt’s Stephen Pearcy and Warren DeMartini, 38 Special, Night Ranger, Sebastian Bach, Lynch Mob, Warrant, John Waite, Lita Ford, Jackyl, Vixen and more. Due to doctor’s orders, co-headliner Bret Michaels was forced to cancel.
The event also included an array of interactive events and activities (including photo opportunities with select bands, and access to the Rock N’ Roll Marketplace, Rock N’ Roll Art Gallery, and Outdoor Patio Experience). Photographer Joe Schaeffer was on-hand to capture some of the highlights of this year’s Mountain Music Festival.
