As opening act on Mötley Crüe’s Final Tour, Alice Cooper and his band gave the crowd at Irvine an arresting performance, playing a set of greatest hits. Guitarist Nita Strauss (The Iron Maidens, Femme Fatale), who recently replaced Orianthi Panagaris, complements the guitar duo of Ryan Roxie and Tommy Henriksen while throwing down impressive solos herself. With a lavish stage production and strong, balanced sound, Cooper’s show arguably upstaged the headlining act.
