Paying tribute to the late guitar maestro Ronnie Montrose, multiple musicians took the stage at the Grand Theater in Anaheim, California. Vocalist Keith St. John, who worked with Montrose for over a decade and organized the Ronnie Montrose Remembered event, gave a touching speech about the guitarist to kick things off.
Former bandmates of Montrose, like bassists David Ellefson and Sean McNabb, were joined by members of Machine Head, Whitesnake, Accept, REO Speedwagon, and others to honor Montrose.
Much of the music was around the Montrose discography, as well as songs from Van Morrison, Edgar Winter Group, Ronnie Montrose’s solo albums, and his band Gamma.
