For the second year in a row, Gibson hosted a NAMM Jam at the Grove of Anaheim, and once again, the stars came out to celebrate the iconic brand’s legacy. Actor John Stamos emceed the evening and shared his own personal history with Gibson. Then the company’s CEO and President James Curleigh came out and thanked everyone for helping to bring Gibson back to relevancy. After a few more formalities, it was time for the music. The house band comprised guitarist Jimmy Vivino, drummer Kenny Arnoff, bassist Daryl Jones. Featured players included Slash (Guns N’ Roses) , Billy Gibbons (ZZ Top), Robin Zander and Rick Nielsen of Cheap Trick, Don Felder (formerly of the Eagles), Richie Faulkner (Judas Priest), Chuck Garric (Alice Cooper), Lzzy Hale (Halestorm), Marc Labelle (Dirty Honey), Jared James Nichols, Celisse, Andy Vargas (Santana), Toby Lee, Tash Neal and many more.
